Mr. Nav Ratan Tibrewala

Mr. Nav Ratan Tibrewala is one of the respected business personalities in the Capital Market. He is a distinguished member of the Alumni of St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata.  

In a career spanning over 25 years, he is the Founder - Promoter and current Chairman of Nakamichi Securities Limited which he has built from a nascent investment firm to a benchmark company for the Securities Market. He ably guided the Company during the turmoil which threatened the Stock Market.

Mr. Tibrewala has rich experience in dealing with businesses and companies in diverse sectors such as Oil production, packaging, garment retail, ERP solutions industries to name a few.

Mr. Tibrewala served ANMI – EIRC as the Treasurer, Vice Chairman and Chairman. He has represented ANMI in International Organizations like KOFIA, Korea and Asian Securities Forum (ASF), Australia He was also the Chairman and Member of many Standing Committees of ANMI. Under his leadership and Chairmanship, ANMI has achieved significant improvements in many diverse areas. Tireless efforts of Mr. Tibrewala were evident in the 4th and 5th International Convention of ANMI held in Kolkata during the years 2009 and 2010 respectively.

Mr. Tibrewala’s depth of knowledge and understanding of the Capital Market bears testimony to the fact that he is currently a member of the Capital Market Committee of Merchant Chamber of Commerce. He was invited by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India to enlighten the Students and also by Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) to be a member of its Capital Market Committee.

Notwithstanding his high stature and success in the capital market, Mr. Tibrewala is a family man, a philanthropist who is always ready to lend a helping hand to people of need.
